Workshop Control System essentially manages a process to manufacture certain products to match our order book. For example, when an order is placed WCS automatically checks stock available and creates a work order to manufacture the products ordered and deals with the dispatch process.
Smarter Builder helps building companies get their staff through the NVQ process. They needed a database to keep track of candidates, assessors, qualifications and payments which we developed for them.
That was the problem at Bath and North East Somerset Council. With 70 councillors on 30 committees and with meetings every day, they needed a way to schedule regular and ad-hoc meetings and to send the meeting invitations to Outlook. So they asked us to create COCOA.
The University of London Directory of Leavers of Higher Education kept records of graduates in a Dataease database. We re-wrote it as an Access database, together with our own text file import wizards and an automatic backup system.
