PCMS Primary Care Management System
Records budgets of and payments to GPs for Avon Health.
PCMS sets an annual budget then helps make monthly payments to the practices.
The Quarterly Audit process helps you select a random sample of practices and staff and then write directly to the staff, with details of the pay details from the practice. When the replies come back, they can be quickly ticked off and one particular report shows which returns are outstanding.
PCMS lets users import the annual budgets from a spreadsheet and enter returns from the practices. The main report shows the budget and over- or under-spend. In addition PCMS makes it easier to audit payments to practice staff: PCMS produces a mailmerge letter and, when the reply slips come back, users only have to type in the ID number to check off that Staff's return.
