NVQ 2000

NVQ 2000 has been developed for NVQ assessment centres to track NVQs, candidates, assessors and verifiers.

Capabilities of NVQ 2000:

• Addition of new NVQs and units
• Editing of NVQ and unit structure and details
• Flexible enquiries on, and updating of, Candidate, Assessor and Verifier details
• Tracking of meetings, mailings and any other events
• Generation of a wide range of filtered reports
• Remote updating by Assessors and Verifiers (securely, via the internet)
• Remote access to progress information by candidates (securely, via the internet)
• Integration with Microsoft Word for letter writing
• Various access and security levels for users

Smarter Builder helps building companies get their staff through the NVQ process. They needed a database to keep track of candidates, assessors, qualifications and payments which we developed for them.

Too many meetings?

That was the problem at Bath and North East Somerset Council. With 70 councillors on 30 committees and with meetings every day, they needed a way to schedule regular and ad-hoc meetings and to send the meeting invitations to Outlook. So they asked us to create COCOA.

Information in an old database?

The University of London Directory of Leavers of Higher Education kept records of graduates in a Dataease database. We re-wrote it as an Access database, together with our own text file import wizards and an automatic backup system.
