Follow the A37 south from Bristol. When you reach Temple Cloud, go through the village and down the hill. As the houses end on the left, turn left into East Court Road. Follow the road until the end and enter the drive directly in front (there is a tree with signs on it).

Smarter Builder helps building companies get their staff through the NVQ process. They needed a database to keep track of candidates, assessors, qualifications and payments which we developed for them.

Too many meetings?

That was the problem at Bath and North East Somerset Council. With 70 councillors on 30 committees and with meetings every day, they needed a way to schedule regular and ad-hoc meetings and to send the meeting invitations to Outlook. So they asked us to create COCOA.

Information in an old database?

The University of London Directory of Leavers of Higher Education kept records of graduates in a Dataease database. We re-wrote it as an Access database, together with our own text file import wizards and an automatic backup system.
